Hongshan (Red Hill ) Forest Zoo

Xiaohongshan Hill is situated near Maigao Bridge north of the city and its former name is Dazhuangguan Hill. Xiaohongshan Hill gains its name for the hill shore red before the light of steelmaking and its height of 28 Zhang. Xuanwu Zoo was moved here recently. By combinating rasing in cages with in nature, the zoo embodys the harmony of human and nature, human and animal.
