Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge

Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge is built in 1968 with the dual purpose for both railway and highway. It is one of the 40 new scenes in Jinling, with the fame of “the rainbow bridge of the nature moat”. The railway part is 6772 meters long,connecting Hu-ning,Jin-pu and Ning-wu railroads.While the highway part is 4589 meters long, including the main bridge of 1577 meters long. There are 10-meter-high statues of workers, peasants and soilders in front of each bridge towers, which is the representation of the culture of that time. The bridge towers in both ends of the bridge is 70 meters high, with the three models of red flags on the top. Under the south bridge tower was a bridge tower.
