The Maglev line , the first commercial  rail line of its type in the world ,links Metro Line 2 at Longyang Road with Pudong international Airport by a train traveling at the top speed to 430 kilomerters per hour.Shanghai Maglev Train takes only 7 minutes to cover the 30--kilometer trip,which currently takes 30 to 40 minutes by taxi 30 kilometer trip,which currently takes 30 to 40 minutes by taxi. Powered by electromagnetism,when renning it is suspended in air,about 10 milimeters above the track on a magnetic cushion.On December 31,2002,both Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji  and German Chancellor Hurtled smoothly through Pudong On a test ride of the World's first commercial magnetic levitation train,It brings a speed revolotion to the world in groud transportation.
