Day 1   tour in Shanghai

Today’s activities: The bund, The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Museum, Pearl Museum, Yuyuan Garden

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Supper

First, our guide and driver will pick you up in the hotel. And after breakfast, then visit The Bund, The Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Lunch, then visit Shanghai Museum, Pearl Museum Yuyuan Garden. Supper, if you are also free, we recommend you watch Acrobatic Show or tour Huangpu River or take a cruise on the river. (This is not be included the tour itinerary).

The Bund: The Bund is famed as “Architecture Fair of All Nations.”

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower: It is 468 meters high, which is the tallest TV Tow in the Asia , third tallest in the world. just after the 553—meter CN Tower in Toronto and the 535—meter Moscow TV tower .Known as the Oriental Pearl TV tower that lies in the Finance and Trade Zone, Pudong.

Shanghai Museum: Shanghai Museum is a giant museum of ancient Chinese art.

Pearl Museum: The history of pearls being used as jewelry is far older than most people think. In China, the first pearl used as an offering for the emperor can be traced back to 2000 years ago. In those days pearls were considered the most valuable treasure, and royalty was keen on owning them. Royalty not only wore pearls as accessories, but also used a large amount of them to decorate their crowns, furniture and even their tomb.

Yuyuan Garden: the Garden is built in Ming Dynasty. It is a famous classical garden located in the south of the Yangtze River, famed as a top wonder in southeast China.

Day 2   Arrival in Zhouzhuang

Today’s activities: Zhouzhuang, Silk, Xintiandi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Firstly, our guide and driver will pick you up in the hotel. And after breakfast, then visit zhouzhuang, Silk. Lunch, then visit Xintiandi. At last, drop you off the airport or Hotel.

Zhouzhuang: Zhouzhuang is an ancient town----- this ancient town has a history of more than 900 years old with many houses built in the ming and qing dynasties. there are about 100 houses with courtyards, and 60 of them have arch gateways made by carved bricks.

It is easy to imagine yourself as a time traveler as you step back into Zhouzhuang's past. One of Chinese best preserved water towns, Zhouzhuang is the perfect one day interlude during you Shanghai experience

Silk: Silk may have been used to manufacture textiles in China as early as 6000 BC, making it one of the first fibers used in manufactured clothing. The credit for using silk as a textile fiber, and the invention of the "silk loom" is given to Xi Ling-Shi, the empress of Huang Di (aka Yellow Emperor) who lived from 2697 BC to 2598 BC.

Xintiandi: Shanghai Xin Tian Di has become an urban tourist attraction that holds the historical and cultural legacies of the city. It is unique because of its concept of construction—it retains the antique walls, tiles and exterior of the Shikumen housing of old Shanghai.
