The plan for "Tibet Week" during the World Expo Shanghai 2010 has been approved recently, and related work is going on smoothly as the preparation work for the expo has entered a crucial stage.

Undertaken by the Culture Department of Tibet Autonomous Region, "Tibet Week" is an important provincial participation of the expo.
The department is in charge of an art performance and an exposition on intangible cultural heritage to be shown at the event.
After repeated discussions and improvement of the plan, the guiding principal and general requirements of the performance have become explicit.
Following suggestions and advice of experts, work panel on the organization of the activity has visited intangible cultural heritage inheritors, and went to Shanghai to discuss over details about the performance with the expo organizer.
